Multifaceted Penny McNamee has starred in leading roles across film, television and theatre, most notably winning a Green Room Award for her performance in Wicked, gaining a Logie Nomination for her role as Tori in Home and Away and is currently starring as Rachel in MJ the Musical.
An accomplished writer, Penny secured a multi-book deal with Scholastic with her middle-school fiction series Stage Stars: Musical Theatre Club.
The first book in the series, Stage Stars: The Audition was nominated for the prestigious Book of the Year Award by Speech Pathology Australia, and the series was picked up by Scholastic Brazil.
As a screenwriter, Penny has written several episodes of Home and Away, while her original Australian family drama, Family Affairs, was shortlisted for the Australian Writer's Guild's premier award for un-produced scripts.
