Sunny Luwe makes optimistic tunes that sound like 'soul, pop, sunshine!'
Sunny is a proud First Nations (Wayilwan) woman based on Kombumerri Country (GC) and in 2023 she released her debut album, Flowers in the Sky with a SOLDOUT launch show and in 2025 released her second album, Feeling Good.
Sunny has opened for artists including ARIA winner Emily Wurramurra, Nai Palm and Death by Denim. She has played BIGSOUND, First People's First, St Kilda Festival, Creekfest, the 10th Gold Coast Music Awards and in February sold out her live album recording show, where she was backed by an incredible 6-piece band. Caring for Country she carbon offsets her music via Gondwana Rainforest Trust, and is a 3x finalist for the Queensland Music Awards.
